Congregational Meeting
Sunday, February 23
Where: The Sanctuary
February 23 is the date of our annual congregational meeting for 2025. A lot is happening that weekend. Rick Asche will be candidating for the position of Family Discipleship Pastor and we will be voting on him during that meeting. We will also be voting on Nominating Committee members and hearing exciting reports about what has been going on in 2024, plus some updates about future goings on. You will not want to miss it. It will be at 12:00 after the second gathering on Sunday, February 23.

Join ladies of all ages for an evening of relaxation and fun! Authentic conversation will follow some musical worship, all in a comfortable atmosphere with snacks, coffee and tea. Join the fun on Tuesday, February 4 at 6:30 PM. We are thrilled to provide childcare for those ladies attending Candid Ladies Night! Limited childcare spots are available so be sure to register.
Generations Ask me Anything

Have you ever wondered how the different generations think? We’re hosting an event that will answer some of those questions! Join us after the second gathering on March 9 in the Hall for a time of “Ask Me Anything!”
For the next three weeks, there will be submission boxes out in the church lobby; one for students to ask the older generation anonymous questions, and one for the older folks to ask questions of the students! Then we will present the questions to a panel of students and elder saints on March 9 to find out the answers to all of our questions!
Please plan to join us for this afternoon of generational connection!

City wide women’s retreat

Join us for a getaway weekend at beautiful Woodleaf - just a short drive from Oroville. A diverse group of women from area churches have united to plan a weekend to encourage and uplift you as you learn more about God and yourself.
Immerse yourself in Bible teaching, heartfelt worship, and meaningful connections with women from across Butte County. Expect lots of laughter, learning, relaxation, creativity, games, and so much more.

Starting Saturday, February 15 at 10:00 AM in The Hall we will be hosting a GriefShare support group. This is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult grief process. Join this 13-week group and learn valuable tips and helpful ways of coping with grief, leading you to relief, comfort and peace of mind.

Ladies, join us Wednesday mornings at 9:15 AM for a time of fellowship, teaching, and small group discussion together. We will be going through the book “Joshua: Winning the Worry Battles with video teaching by Barbara Roose.
Through this in-depth study, we will see how God gave the Israelites victory over their enemies and generously blessed them. We’ll be equipped with biblical wisdom, encouragement, and practical tools that will enable us to overcome our daily worry struggles as well as the bigger battles of fear that we face.

Going through a time of divorce or separation can be very difficult. Starting on January 9 at 6:00 PM in The Hall, join this 13 week support group as we navigate this challenging season together. Click the register button for more info.
DivorceCare for kids (DC4K) is available for free to children ages 5-12. DC4K is a fun and interactive Biblical teaching designed to help children heal from the hurt of separation and divorce. The curriculum is paced with the adult program and has the same class time on the same campus. DC4K includes snack, music, games, DVD dramas, group discussion and more!

Esther - Daring Faith for a Time Such as This
This 7 week study by Kelly Minter dives into the daring faith of Esther and her cousin Mordecai - a faith rooted in the goodness of God. Although our time looks different from Esther's, our God is just as active and faithful today, and He has called us for such a time as this.
