Erin Watkins

Erin is a wife of 17 years to her incredible Matt, mom of four squirrelly kids whom she keeps attempting to homeschool, and a follower of Jesus who becomes more and more her life preserver.  Erin enjoys living close to Bidwell Park where she sometimes exercises, and downtown Chico where she and her family frequently walk to coffee shops and the Farmers Market.  Her favorite things include having people into her home to visit, and breaking really good bread together, thrift shopping and reading.  Often she wishes she could have some interesting passions that were out of the ordinary, and unusual to share, but even thinking about that makes her tired.

Katie Cook

Katie grew up in Chico but has since lived all over the world.  She worked many years in the international non-profit sector, in places like Kenya, Thailand, and Nepal, where God continually taught her about his heart for justice and living in community.  In 2013, while in Nepal, God called Katie to change careers and get her masters in counseling.  Katie currently works as a Marriage and Family Therapist at a Christian counseling center in Chico and has the incredible privilege of seeing lives be healed and transformed.  Katie is passionate about women finding freedom in their life.

Katie is married to her husband Kevin and has an almost two-year-old daughter named Avonlea, and a baby due May 2019.  She loves traveling the world, meeting new friends, costume parties, walks in the park, and dark chocolate.  She is so excited to be a part of this retreat and can’t wait to meet all of you!

Currently, she has begun stepping into writing a non-fiction book on her God Stories.  Her first article was published in Guidepost magazine in January 2019

Stacey loves coaching high school girls volleyball.  She also loves to encourage women, of all ages, to walk in freedom and help them pursue their God-given destiny.
